اختتام دورة توعوية لمستفيدي قطاعي النحل والثروة الحيوانية في مديرية المقاطرة

اختتم مدير عام مديرية المقاطرة، الأستاذ جمال شمسان، يوم الأحد الموافق 19 يوليو 2026م، دورة توعوية حول «رعاية صحة الحيوان»، استهدفت مستفيدي مشاريع سبل العيش في قطاعي النحل والثروة الحيوانية، وذلك بمشاركة 20 مستفيداً من قطاع تربية النحل و212 من مربي الثروة الحيوانية من أبناء المديرية.

ونُفذت الدورة من قبل مؤسسة ينابيع الخير، ضمن أنشطة «برنامج شبكة السلامة لضمان الأمن الغذائي وبناء القدرة على الصمود من خلال تحويل الأنظمة الإنسانية والقيادة المجتمعية المتكاملة في اليمن»، وهو برنامج إنساني وتنموي ممول من وزارة الخارجية والتنمية البريطانية بالشراكة مع منظمة رعاية الأطفال.

وهدفت الدورة إلى تزويد مربي النحل ومربي الثروة الحيوانية بالمعارف والمهارات الأساسية والحديثة في مجال الرعاية الصحية، والوقاية من الآفات والأمراض التي تهدد خلايا النحل والثروة الحيوانية، إلى جانب تعزيز ممارسات تحسين جودة الإنتاج، بما يسهم في استدامة مشاريعهم الصغيرة وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي لأسرهم.

وعقب اختتام الدورة، ألقى مدير عام المديرية، الأستاذ جمال شمسان، كلمة توجيهية للمشاركين أكد فيها أهمية قطاعي تربية النحل والثروة الحيوانية باعتبارهما من أهم مصادر الدخل المستدام للأسر في المديرية، داعياً المشاركين إلى الاستفادة من المعارف والمهارات المكتسبة وتطبيقها عملياً بما يسهم في حماية أصولهم الإنتاجية وتعزيز نجاح واستدامة مشاريعهم.

كما أعرب عن شكره وتقديره للجهات المنفذة والممولة للمشروع، مثمناً جهودها في دعم سبل العيش وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي والقدرة على الصمود لدى الأسر والمجتمعات المحلية.
Awareness Workshop for Beekeeping and Livestock Beneficiaries Concludes in Al-Maqatirah District

The Director General of Al-Maqatirah District, Mr. Jamal Shamsan, concluded an awareness workshop on “Animal Health Care” on Sunday, July 19, 2026. The workshop targeted beneficiaries of livelihood projects in the beekeeping and livestock sectors, including 20 beneficiaries from the beekeeping sector and 212 livestock farmers from the district.

The workshop was implemented by Yanabee Al-Khair Foundation as part of the activities of the “Safety Net Program for Food Security and Resilience Building through Transforming Humanitarian Systems and Integrated Community Leadership in Yemen.” The humanitarian and development program is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in partnership with Save the Children.

The workshop aimed to equip beekeepers and livestock farmers with essential and up-to-date knowledge and skills in animal healthcare, the prevention and control of pests and diseases affecting beehives and livestock, and practices for improving production quality. These efforts contribute to the sustainability of their small-scale livelihoods projects and enhance food security for their families.

Following the conclusion of the workshop, the Director General of the District, Mr. Jamal Shamsan, delivered an address to the participants, emphasizing the importance of the beekeeping and livestock sectors as key sources of sustainable income for families in the district. He urged participants to make use of the knowledge and skills gained during the workshop and apply them in practice to help protect their productive assets and strengthen the success and sustainability of their projects.
