The people of the area between the mountains, Aryaf district of Mukalla, Hadramout governorate suffer in obtaining water, as the people depend on other primitive methods to secure them access to water in drought periods.and the other go to transfer water by truck which cost them alot
To reduce this suffering, Yanabi’e Alkhayir Charity Foundation intervened in the construction of the Muhaina Dam by constructing a water barrier with a capacity of 500 M3 in the area.
Through the implementation of this project, the Foundation aims to secure safe drinking water for the villages benefiting from the Dam, and to reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics transmitted by water, and the implementation of the project will lead to alleviating the suffering of people in village, especially women and children, instead of fetching water from far areas that may be a danger, It will improve their health and living situation, save time and money, secure a stable water source, and stabilize the people in their areas.
