This morning, the Al-Jumhouri Hospital water project was launched with generous funding from the Kuwait Society for Relief and implementing by YKF.
The project consists of drilling a deep borehole with a high productivity compared to the existing wells in the city of Taiz, with a productivity of 32.4 cubic meters per hour. An integrated submersible pumping unit with a capacity of 37KW was supplied and installed, powered by solar energy, with an electric power of 51755W. The pumping unit operates to pump water from the well to the hospital tank, as well as to the main network of the Water Corporation and distribution points.
The project aims to cover the needs of approximately 20,000 people in the hospital and nearby areas, and the well's productivity is estimated at 600,000 liters of water per day
