In the presence of the Governor of Abyan, Major General Abubakr Hussein Salem, and Dr. Adel Baeshen, Deputy Director of the Kuwait Relief Society office in Yemen, the Yanabia Alkhair Charity Foundation launched a water rehabilitation project in the Shaqra area of Abyan governorate, funded and supervised by the Kuwait Relief Society.

The project consists of an integrated submersible pumping unit operating with the solar energy system, building a pumping room, carrying out about  a 700-meter-long pumping line, and rehabilitating and maintaining the tower tank of the project.
