The FSL Project Manager –will serve as the operational and technical lead for the FSL project, ensuring the effective and timely implementation of all related activities. The role includes oversight of project implementation, recruitment, procurement processes, and coordination with other relevant sectors to ensure integrated programming.
The FSL Project Manager will play a key leadership role within the response team, focusing on capacity building and support to project staff, while ensuring alignment with donor guidelines, institutional frameworks, and best practices.
He/she will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all FSL interventions are of high quality, technically sound, and result-oriented. This will be achieved through close collaboration with the technical team to ensure adherence to standards and a focus on impact-driven outcomes.
The Project Manager will have the following key responsibilities:
Needs Analysis and Program Design:
Design and participate in required assessments, baselines and evaluations and learnings/researches.
3.1.1 .Develop a detailed project implementation plan, including timelines, deliverables, and budget allocation(forecast).
3.1.2.Work in align with other departments to prepare procurement plan, MEL Plan,….
3.1.3.Coordinate with stakeholders and relevant government agencies to ensure smooth project implementation.
3.1.4.Monitor project progress, identify any challenges or risks, and take appropriate actions to address them.
3.1.5.Ensure effective coordination and communication among project staff, partners, and stakeholders.
Conduct regular feedback sessions with the M&E Officer and Accountability Assistants to ensure that all findings are addressed and adjustments made to the project throughout implementation
Prepare timely programme and donor reports on project activities in compliance with YKF requirements and any relevant external donor requirements..
Ensure of timely submitting any required report/update (like weekly and monthly progress reports, etc..).Minimum of 2 years managerial experience,
Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and donorA very good level of written and spoken English
